Expressing Human Figure Drawing as well as Everyday Objects and Nature
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] From August 26 to September 8, the Saengyeonpil Drawing Association's inaugural exhibition will be held at Gallery 107 and the Street Gallery on Jungang-ro in Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do.
This exhibition features over 50 works by members of the Saengyeonpil Drawing Association. Under the guidance of artist Seo Hyun-ho, members Kwon Mi-yang, Go Jeong-ae, Kim Un-gi, Kim Yoon-jung, Kim Im-sook, Park Seung-jun, Ahn Jeong-hwa, Lee Geum-ju, Lee In-sook, Jeong Bang-ho, and Jeong Eun-soon participated.
Through the exhibition, members present works expressing human figure drawings, everyday objects and nature, as well as pieces humorously depicting human nature filled with joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure. 'Saengyeonpil' is an abbreviation of 'Saenggakhan Yeonpil,' meaning 'Thinking Pencil.'
Chairman Jeong Bang-ho stated, “Despite the ongoing pandemic situation, thanks to the active participation of the members, we were able to hold the inaugural exhibition. We will continue various works to become a Saengyeonpil Association that contributes to the development of art in Gokseong.”
