[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund announced on the 24th that it will publicly recruit 99 new employees in the second half of 2021.

Following the recruitment of 93 employees in the first half, the Fund plans to hire 99 more in the second half, totaling 192 new employees for the year. This represents the largest scale of recruitment among financial public institutions excluding banks this year.

This new employee recruitment aims to expand support capabilities for small and medium-sized enterprises struggling due to COVID-19 and to secure personnel to lead the Fund's innovative finance initiatives. In addition to 70 financial office staff, 17 specialists will be hired, including 12 ICT and data experts and 5 technical evaluation personnel. Furthermore, 12 candidates will be selected through a special high school recruitment track to strengthen competency-based hiring.

Among the 99 recruits, 30 will be hired as non-metropolitan area talents, and a regional talent recruitment quota system targeting Daegu-Gyeongbuk area candidates will be operated to contribute to balanced regional development.

Applications can be submitted on the Fund's recruitment website until the 7th of next month. After document screening, written tests, and interviews, the final successful candidates will be announced at the end of December.

A representative of the Fund stated, "Through two public recruitments this year, we will create the largest scale of youth jobs, strengthen the hiring of regional talents and high school graduates, and fulfill our social responsibility as a public institution. We will also make every effort to ensure a safe recruitment process amid the COVID-19 situation by thoroughly preparing quarantine measures."
