After Automatic Mobile Document Transmission from Hospital EMR to Insurer Server via Ttokdak, Claim Completed
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Vibros (CEO Song Yong-beom), which operates the mobile medical appointment reservation service 'Ddokdak,' announced on the 24th that it has launched a real expense insurance claim service.
The Ddokdak real expense insurance claim service allows patients to automatically receive mobile documents at the hospital and easily claim insurance money from real expense insurance companies. The usage is simple. After confirming patient information in the 'Real Expense Insurance Claim' category within the Ddokdak app, selecting the medical details for which the insurance money will be claimed completes the insurance claim process.
Ddokdak launched this service to reduce the hassle for hospitals and patients involved in the real expense insurance claim process. By utilizing the real expense insurance claim service, hospitals no longer need to issue paper documents. Documents such as prescriptions, receipts, and detailed statements are encrypted and automatically issued safely from the hospital's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) program to the patient's Ddokdak app. Patients can send the mobile documents issued by the hospital to the insurance company with just a few taps, bypassing the cumbersome insurance claim process.
Song Yong-beom, CEO of Vibros, said, "Through this service, Ddokdak has established itself as an app that solves all hospital visit processes except for medical treatment at once, including hospital search, reservation, registration, medical fee payment, and insurance claim." He added, "We plan to use this as a new growth engine and expand the current 5.7 million members to 7 million within the year."
