NHN-Isak Engineering Establish IoT Platform Strategic Partnership

[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] NHN announced on the 24th that it has signed an 'IoT Platform Strategic Partnership for Enhancing Manufacturing Competitiveness' with smart factory solution specialist Isak Engineering.

Through this agreement, the two companies will promote the development of manufacturing advancement models utilizing IoT platform business and manufacturing datasets.

Isak Engineering provides core manufacturing-related solutions such as smart factory, smart energy, and big data artificial intelligence analysis platforms. NHN, as the private cloud operator of the AI manufacturing platform ‘KAMP,’ plans to carry out multifaceted activities to foster smart manufacturing supply companies.

Kim Donghoon, Executive Director of NHN Cloud Business Group, said, "We expect great synergy effects from the combination of NHN Cloud’s data operation infrastructure and Isak Engineering’s smart factory technology," adding, "NHN Cloud will take the lead in advancing the smart manufacturing sector and strive to create value beyond manufacturing."

Meanwhile, NHN was selected as the private cloud operator for the AI manufacturing platform ‘KAMP,’ established by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, in September last year. In this project, NHN is responsible for cloud construction in three phases until the second half of next year.
