2021 FW Tweed Jacket, Chiffon Dress Release

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] CJ OnStyle's designer fashion brand 'Karl Lagerfeld Paris' announced on the 24th that it has released two new autumn products in collaboration with the clothing manufacturer MHT.

The 2021 Fall/Winter (FW) 'Karl Lagerfeld Paris' presents a glamorous and sophisticated style that feels like an escape from everyday life, under the concept of 'Bal Masque,' which means masquerade ball in French. While maintaining the brand's unique color that highlights luxurious materials and elegant silhouettes, it emphasizes enchanting colors. On the 28th of this month at 10:20 AM, a sales broadcast for 'Karl Lagerfeld Paris' signature product, the 'Tweed Jacket,' will be held. For this new product, high-quality fabric exclusively woven at Korea's top tweed fabric factory was used. On the 26th, a pre-sale broadcast will also be conducted on CJ OnStyle's mobile live broadcast channel.

The simultaneously released 'Le Bijou Chiffon Dress' sold out entirely within 30 minutes during CJ OnStyle's planned program 'Donggage' on the 17th, surpassing 580 million KRW in order amount. The product features a chiffon material that flows lightly with metallic threads woven in, creating a subtle atmosphere. It has an H-line silhouette that helps to complement the body shape and offers good mobility for comfortable wear.

MHT, which prepared this 'Karl Lagerfeld Paris' autumn new product together, is a clothing manufacturer with research and development (R&D) capabilities, operating an in-house design research institute and focusing on Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) rather than typical manufacturing companies. Based on trendy design and manufacturing capabilities, it has been recognized for quality and formed partnerships with over 80 department store brands. It has collaborated with CJ OnStyle for 13 years, launching fashion private brands (PB) with strong brand identity for CJ OnStyle.

Meanwhile, MHT was selected this year for CJ OnStyle's program supporting research and development for small and medium-sized partner companies and received a support fund of 30 million KRW. This fund will be used as design R&D expenses, which are core resources for MHT going forward.
