5% Accumulation of 'Kyobo Bookstore Integrated Points' When Paying at Kyobo Bookstore and Hottracks

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Lotte Card announced on the 18th that it has partnered with Kyobo Bookstore to launch the commercial card (PLCC) 'Kyobo Bookstore Platinum Card,' specialized in accumulating Kyobo Bookstore integrated points.

This card features a 5% accumulation of Kyobo Bookstore integrated points when making payments at Kyobo Bookstore, Hottracks, as well as everyday-related sectors such as fast food, convenience stores, online video services (OTT), academies, and pharmacies.

If the usage amount last month was 300,000 KRW or more, 5% of the usage amount at Kyobo Bookstore and Hottracks will be specially accumulated, with 2,000 points per transaction and up to 30,000 points per month. For everyday accumulation benefits, 5% points are accumulated in sectors such as ▲fast food (Lotteria, Burger King, McDonald's, KFC) ▲convenience stores (CU, 7-Eleven, GS25) ▲OTT (Netflix, YouTube Premium, Watcha) ▲others (academies, pharmacies, hair salons). If the usage amount last month was 400,000 KRW or 800,000 KRW or more, accumulation is possible up to 10,000 points and 20,000 points respectively. Additionally, for transportation accumulation benefits, if the usage amount last month was 400,000 KRW or more, 5% is accumulated up to 5,000 points per month on public transportation (bus, subway).

Moreover, even if there was no usage amount last month, a basic accumulation of 0.7% of the usage amount is provided at all domestic and international online and offline merchants.

In addition, a Kyobo Bookstore membership coupon worth a total of 5,500 KRW is provided once a month, and if the usage amount last month was 400,000 KRW or more, a 5,000 KRW discount is given once a month (up to 10 times a year) when paying 10,000 KRW or more at cafes (Starbucks, Ediya, Hollys).

The card design reflects the characteristics of books and was created with three concepts: medieval bookplates, the texture of hardcover books, and woodblock printing. The annual fee is 18,000 KRW (domestic only/overseas combined).
