[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Dongwon F&B announced on the 16th that it has released a new CF for Dongwon Tuna featuring Junho and Chansung from the group 2PM as models.
This CF was produced with the concept of the debut music video of the rookie project group ‘Team Chichi,’ formed by Junho and Chansung. In the CF, ‘Team Chichi’ appears wearing red and blue suits symbolizing the Dongwon Tuna models, performing choreography and singing to their debut song ‘Oh. My. God. Tuna! Dongwon Tuna.’
This CF is the fourth installment in the ‘The Great Taste Tuna, Dongwon Tuna’ campaign, which has been ongoing since 2019. The previous three works, known for their uniquely addictive CM songs, have collectively surpassed 50 million views on YouTube to date.
The CF consists of two versions: one introducing various tuna can recipes rich in taste and nutrition, and another highlighting the convenience of tuna cans that go well eaten directly or with delivery ready meals.
A Dongwon F&B representative said, “This CF was planned reflecting the recent MZ generation’s new communication culture of ‘Bucae Play’ (playing alternate personas). We ask for lots of support for ‘Team Chichi,’ who will actively communicate with the fandom ‘Tunist’ and build a young and friendly Dongwon Tuna brand image.”
Dongwon F&B plans to showcase various marketing activities including new Dongwon Tuna products, merchandise, and various online content together with ‘Team Chichi.’
