[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Hanjin KAL announced on the 13th that it will additionally acquire 3,296,041 shares of its subsidiary Jin Air for 49.6 billion KRW.
After the stock acquisition, the shareholding ratio will be 54.9%. The scheduled date for the stock acquisition is November 10. Hanjin KAL stated that the purpose of this stock acquisition is "to maintain the company's corporate value and control over major subsidiaries."
