Hana Bank Launches Non-Face-to-Face Corporate Account Opening Service

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Hana Bank announced on the 11th that it has launched a non-face-to-face account opening service for corporate clients.

The non-face-to-face account opening service allows customers to open deposit and withdrawal accounts via a mobile app without visiting a branch. Previously, this service was only available to individual and sole proprietor customers, but the target has now been expanded to include corporate clients.

Accounts available for corporate clients include KRW and foreign currency deposit and withdrawal accounts. Applications can be made through the mobile app "Hana One Q Corporate" after verifying the representative's identity and submitting the required documents. Electronic financial transfer fees for accounts opened non-face-to-face are waived for the first three months, and thereafter, discount benefits are maintained based on transaction performance.

Donghyun Lee, Head of Hana Bank's Corporate Business Division, stated, "As contactless finance becomes more common recently, we launched the non-face-to-face account opening service to enhance convenience for corporate customers," adding, "We plan to expand non-face-to-face services to various tasks such as corporate card applications in the future."
