First launched in September 2018, Hankook Tire's EV dedicated tire 'Kinergy EV' is a high-tech product that combines ultra-low noise environment optimized for EV driving, excellent driving performance, and comfortable ride quality.
To create a low-noise driving environment, the tire minimizes noise generated between the tire and the road surface, maximizing quietness. Various noise reduction technologies have been applied, including suppressing specific frequency noises generated during driving through optimal pitch arrangement.
Hankook Tire is introducing additional sizes of 'Kinergy EV' from the existing 16-inch and 17-inch to 18-inch and 19-inch. This reflects the trend of continuously launching various segments of electric vehicles as the EV market expands.
With this size expansion, the company emphasized that 'Kinergy EV' now offers a lineup from 16 inches to 19 inches, enabling it to accommodate various electric vehicle models.
