Operation of Infinite Healthcare Next-Generation Medical Image Storage and Transmission System Implementation
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University Hospital (Director Jeong Jong-hoon) is focusing on building a cutting-edge smart hospital environment.
Chosun University Hospital announced on the 6th that it has recently introduced and is operating Infinite Healthcare's next-generation Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
PACS is a system that converts medical images taken by radiology equipment such as X-ray, CT, and MRI into digital format simultaneously with imaging, transmits them through a high-speed communication network, stores them in large-capacity storage devices, and manages and transmits the images so that radiology specialists can interpret them on high-resolution monitors.
The newly introduced ‘INFINITT G7 PACS’ provides approximately three times faster and more stable image processing speed compared to the previously used ‘G3 PACS,’ enabling time savings in interpretation and diagnosis.
In particular, with the improvement of Ultra High Zoom Image Quality, small-sized images can be enlarged at high magnification while maintaining high resolution, and the function for comparative analysis of measurement results between examinations has been enhanced, allowing more accurate diagnoses and providing effective treatment to patients.
Meanwhile, on March 2nd, Chosun University Hospital held a contract signing ceremony with medical IT specialist company Peace Ease Co., Ltd. to build a next-generation integrated medical information system, advancing the establishment of a patient-centered ‘cutting-edge smart hospital’ environment.
