[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] As of 10 a.m. on the 6th, Gyeongsangnam-do announced that 24 new confirmed cases occurred since 5 p.m. the previous day.

By region, there were 11 cases in Changwon, 6 in Gimhae, 3 in Sacheon, 2 in Tongyeong, and 1 each in Haman and Goseong.

By infection route, 17 cases were contacts of confirmed patients within the province, 2 related to a Changwon mart, 2 under investigation, 2 contacts of confirmed patients from other regions, and 1 related to manufacturing in Changwon.

Accordingly, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the province increased to 7,693 (1,067 hospitalized, 6,606 discharged, 20 deceased).
