Gochang-gun Conducts Hygiene Inspections of Multi-use Facilities to Prevent Food Poisoning

[Gochang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeonbuk Gochang-gun (Governor Yu Gisang) announced on the 6th that it will conduct simultaneous inspections of quarantine rules and hygiene at about 850 businesses, including restaurants, cafes, entertainment facilities, and accommodations around summer vacation spots, until the end of this month.

This inspection, conducted jointly by the county office hygiene team and consumer food hygiene inspectors, will focus on compliance with food hygiene regulations such as the use of expired products, cleanliness of cooking areas, and reuse of leftover food.

The county urges all visitors to comply with quarantine rules such as maintaining visitor logs, social distancing, ventilation, and wearing masks at all times.

In addition, quarantine managers are assigned for each multi-use facility to ensure compliance with quarantine rules.

A county official said, “We are making every effort to prevent food poisoning through thorough hygiene management and the Food Poisoning Alert Service (food poisoning forecast index text service),” adding, “We will work to create a safe dining environment by raising awareness of infectious disease prevention among restaurant workers.”
