Choi Yoo-shin, a judge at the Seoul Western District Court, conducted a pre-arrest detention hearing for suspect A, who was urgently arrested on the 3rd on charges of special robbery, and issued an arrest warrant, stating "there is a risk of flight."
According to the police, A unlawfully entered a multi-family house in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 1 p.m. on the 30th of last month. The man entered a woman's house through the window, threatened her with a weapon, stayed for over 10 hours, and then fled after stealing a mobile phone, laptop, cash, and other items.
Subsequently, on the 3rd of this month, the same man committed a robbery with a weapon at a convenience store in Mapo-gu. The police tracked him down after receiving a report and arrested A in Gwanak-gu on the same day.
