Exceeded Target for Attracting Companies in Expo Industrial Exchange Zone
Opportunity for Growth and Transition to Anti-Aging and Bio Industries
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, corporate interest is heating up for the '2021 Hamyang Sansam Anti-Aging Expo' opening on September 10.
The Expo Organizing Committee announced on the 5th that 164 promising domestic companies applied to participate in the Sansam Expo Industry Exchange Hall, which aims to exhibit, sell, and exchange products themed around wild ginseng and anti-aging.
This number of applications far exceeded the initial target of attracting 100 domestic companies, resulting in an entry competition rate of 1.6 to 1.
The committee analyzed that many companies applied to join because they sought new vitality for their business activities, which had been restrained due to COVID-19, by utilizing the Sansam Expo?associated with anti-aging and immune enhancement?as a marketing channel.
The Industry Exchange Hall, consisting of 66 booths, will operate both on-site and online. It will offer various content such as customized one-on-one on-site consulting, special guest seminars, and an exhibition hall for excellent overseas company products to strengthen global competitiveness and open new sales channels.
Additionally, an online non-face-to-face export consultation meeting with overseas buyers through one-on-one matching, online promotional events on Naver and Korea Post Shopping, and an online promotional hall for corporate image promotion and product sales will also be operated.
Kim Jong-soon, Secretary General of the Expo Organizing Committee, said, "The Hamyang Sansam Anti-Aging Expo is an opportunity to create new value for wild ginseng and expand the base of the anti-aging industry. We will strive to ensure that Hamyang Sansam is established as a unique anti-aging brand and leads to various industrial developments even after the expo."
The 2021 Hamyang Sansam Anti-Aging Expo will be held from September 10 to October 10 under the theme "Millennium Wild Ginseng, Dream of Life Extension" at the first venue around Sangnim Park in Hamyang-gun and the second venue around Daebongsan Healing Valley.
To widely promote the excellence of wild ginseng and drive the anti-aging industry as a future new growth engine, 70 programs across 20 themes in five categories including exhibition production, industrial exhibition, academic conferences, performance events, and experiential activities will be held.
