Sunchon National University Takes a New Leap with Appointment of New Administrative Professors

[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon National University (President Ko Young-jin) announced on the 5th that it held a new appointment ceremony for administrative professors on the 2nd and is embarking on a new leap to strengthen university competitiveness.

Suncheon National University integrated administrative positions such as the president’s direct organization through an administrative organization reorganization in July to respond to the decline in the school-age population and changes in university education. It also expanded and reorganized the Admissions Headquarters under the Student Affairs Office, the frontline base for recruiting new students, into the Admissions Office to strengthen its role.

In addition, to improve the quality of academic activities of the continuously increasing number of international students and to revitalize the recruitment of international students, the International Exchange Education Center was promoted to the International Exchange Education Headquarters to respond to the changing environment.

President Ko Young-jin of Suncheon National University appointed 18 administrative professors and urged, “As the organization has been strengthened and specialized for a new leap, I ask the administrative professors to work wholeheartedly so that we can fulfill our role as a representative national university of Jeonnam pioneering the future together with the region with a spirit of putting others before oneself.”
