Mokpo-si, Recruitment of Applicants for Disabled Sports Class Voucher Support

Application Submission from the 9th to the 16th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Seunghyun] Mokpo City, Jeollanam-do, is recruiting eligible recipients for the Disabled Sports Lecture Voucher program to support the use of sports facilities by vulnerable disabled individuals from the 9th to the 16th.

According to the city on the 5th, this program, which has been implemented since 2019 with funds from the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, Jeollanam-do, and local government budgets, supports disabled persons selected as eligible users of the Disabled Sports Lecture Voucher by subsidizing lecture fees up to 80,000 KRW per person per month for one lecture when using sports facilities.

In this recruitment, general disabled persons aged 19 to 64 can also apply so that more beneficiaries can receive support.

Eligible applicants are registered disabled persons from basic livelihood security households or near-poverty groups aged 12 to 64 (born between January 1, 1957, and December 31, 2009), and general disabled persons aged 19 to 64. Applications can be submitted through the Disabled Sports Lecture Voucher website or the local administrative welfare center.

The city plans to select about 20 recipients and provide support for four months.

The voucher usage period is scheduled for September, but the schedule may be adjusted depending on the COVID-19 situation, and any changes will be separately announced.
