[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Paul Bassett announced on the 5th that starting from the 9th of this month, it will launch three new Barista capsules compatible with Dolce Gusto. Until now, Barista capsules were only available for Nespresso machines, but by introducing capsules compatible with Dolce Gusto, the company plans to secure a broader customer base.
The new products consist of three Lungo varieties made with fresh specialty-grade coffee beans: Signature Blend Lungo, Brazil Single Origin Lungo, and Guatemala Single Origin Lungo. Featuring perfect sealing and a triple filter structure, these capsules allow you to enjoy rich crema along with the deep flavor and aroma of the coffee.
The Signature Blend Lungo capsule is a blend of Brazilian and Ethiopian beans, offering a heavy body and pleasant acidity. It is Paul Bassett's representative blend, characterized by bright floral notes, the sweetness of ripe fruit, and the bittersweet taste of cacao, providing a flavor most similar to the Lungo served in stores.
The Brazil Single Origin Lungo capsule is made from 100% Brazilian beans, combining sweet caramel-like aroma, the sweetness of honey, and the bittersweet taste of cacao. The Guatemala Single Origin Lungo capsule is made from 100% Guatemalan beans, blending the aroma of chocolate, the sweetness of brown sugar and dried fruit, and the savory taste of nuts. The Single Origin Lungos allow you to delicately experience the unique taste and aroma of the beans, characterized by a clean flavor.
