Partial Revision of Urban Regeneration Strategic Plan to be Submitted to Jeonbuk Province on the 12th
[Muju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Han-ho] Muju County announced on the 5th that it will promote urban regeneration based on the concepts of a healthy city and ecological civilization.
Muju County plans to submit a revised urban regeneration strategic plan to Jeollabuk-do on the 12th. The revision aims to leverage Muju's strengths by introducing new concepts of a healthy city plan and ecological civilization projects, laying the foundation for residential rights.
The revision includes a specialized "Muju-style urban regeneration" through tourism and cultural regeneration, green economic regeneration, and eco-friendly residential area regeneration, emphasizing harmonious coexistence between people and nature rather than a return to the past.
In particular, it actively embraces the future value of ecological civilization policies, including new industries, and incorporates the philosophy and vision of Muju as a healthy city into the strategic plan.
The revised urban regeneration strategic plan of Muju County is expected to be finalized and approved after the Jeollabuk-do Urban Regeneration Committee meeting on the 18th.
After establishing the urban regeneration strategic plan last year, Muju County achieved recognition from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for urban regeneration projects such as the "Muju Bandinarae Support Center Construction Project" and the "Mupung Eoullim Center project."
Additionally, as a preliminary urban regeneration project, the Seolcheon-myeon "Snow Flower Village Goblin Market" project was selected, along with the LH public offering for village maintenance-type multi-family housing project (100 units), marking significant achievements.
