[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Jeonnam Muan Police Station (Chief Yoon Hu-ui) announced on the 5th that it held a ceremony to appoint new security advisory committee members in the small conference room on the 2nd floor of the police station on the 4th.
The event began with the appointment ceremony for five new members of the Security Advisory Council, followed by an introduction to major tasks and a discussion on practical support measures for socially vulnerable groups such as North Korean defectors, multicultural families, and foreigners.
Kim Cheol-jung, chairman of the Security Advisory Council, stated, “As new members were appointed during difficult times, we will cooperate with Muan Police Station to ensure the stable settlement of socially vulnerable North Korean defectors.”
Yoon Hu-ui, chief of Muan Police Station, said, “I would like to express my gratitude to the security advisory committee members who have always provided great help for the settlement of socially vulnerable groups such as North Korean defectors,” and added, “Let us continue to work together to be a strong supporter of socially vulnerable groups.”
