[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] On the 4th, Kim Chang-ryong, Commissioner of the National Police Agency, visited Gyeongpo Beach in Gangneung-si, Gangwon Province, to inspect the COVID-19 quarantine situation.
Commissioner Kim discussed the COVID-19 quarantine response cooperation system between the police and local governments at the Gyeongpo Summer Police Station with Kim Han-geun, Mayor of Gangneung, and urged visitors to the beach to comply with quarantine rules and actively cooperate.
He also emphasized proactive and preventive police activities, including the prevention of sex crimes such as illegal filming at the beach.
