[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Hite Jinro announced on the 4th that it will sell a limited edition backpack in the shape of Jinro Pack Soju for the first time in two years, following the sold-out craze of the Chamisul backpack. The quantity is 400 units.
This limited edition backpack perfectly replicates the original Jinro Mini Pack Soju. From the bag shape to the barcode engraved on the side and the underage warning text, it is identical to the actual pack soju, with silver and black toad symbols as accents.
The backpack size is 20% smaller than the Chamisul backpack, tailored to the Jinro Pack Soju (160ml). Additionally, it features various storage compartments, a soju-exclusive cooling holder, and a toad name tag to enhance usability. A versatile dust bag is also included as a bonus.
The product will be sold exclusively on the online Musinsa Store starting at 11 a.m. on the 6th. The price is 54,000 won.
Jinro, now in its third year since launch, surpassed cumulative sales of 740 million bottles by June. The 160ml mini pack soju, first introduced in September last year reflecting the solo drinking and home drinking trends, sold 1 million packs within a month.
