"Design and Technology Analyzed as Key Factors Driving Customer Choice"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Hutech Industry (CEO Ju Sung-jin) announced on the 4th that sales through non-face-to-face channels, mainly online, grew by 149% compared to the same period last year.
As non-face-to-face consumption has become commonplace worldwide due to COVID-19, Hutech proactively strengthened its non-face-to-face sales channels through TV home shopping, Naver Shopping Live, and social commerce to enhance competitiveness.
Hutech is showing strong performance in the market by diversifying its non-face-to-face sales channels. In particular, the ES9 massage chair has continued to sell out since its first launch broadcast on TV home shopping. During the Naver Live Commerce broadcast held in April to commemorate the launch of the Comma massage chair, all units were sold out within one hour. Currently, Hutech's live commerce has surpassed 50 broadcasts. Additionally, during the 'Big Smile Day' event held in May on Gmarket, Auction, and G9, Hutech ranked first in sales in the massage chair category.
A Hutech representative said, "We analyze that the differentiated design as well as continuously advancing technology are driving customers' choices," and "we will thoroughly prepare strategies for the post-COVID-19 era to ensure that more people can achieve complete relaxation and health through Hutech massage chairs."
