KT Skylife with unusable antenna panels supports wheelchairs with revenue

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT Skylife announced that starting from the 4th, it will hold a one-month contest to collect stories for supporting wheelchairs for people with severe disabilities through the 'Move with Skylife' program.

The Move with Skylife project delivers wheelchairs to people with severe disabilities from vulnerable groups, ensuring and supporting their mobility rights. It is conducted in collaboration with the KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation.

This wheelchair support for people with severe disabilities is funded by the proceeds from selling discarded broadcasting equipment such as Skylife antennas and receivers collected from customers, combining support activities for vulnerable groups with resource recycling efforts.

Vulnerable individuals with severe disabilities can apply by filling out an application form on the Skylife website or the KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation's Give Square website and submitting it via email to the KT Group Hope Sharing Foundation. The company will review the submitted stories and notify the winners individually in early September. Customized wheelchairs will be delivered in November.

Hong Ki-seop, Vice President of Skylife, stated, “This wheelchair support for people with severe disabilities is a meaningful practice that goes beyond eco-friendliness by utilizing proceeds from selling discarded broadcasting equipment collected from Skylife customers to support people with disabilities in an era where environmental management is essential. We will continue to pursue more environmental management activities in the future.”
