[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] The Magic Keyboard, which was previously only available to customers who purchased Apple's iMac computers, can now be purchased separately as a standalone product.

On the 4th, Apple announced that it will introduce separately purchasable Mac accessories including the Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad, Magic Mouse, as well as three new graphics card modules for the Mac Pro.

The Magic Keyboard enables precise typing. The newly released model equipped with Touch ID provides a secure login environment, and customers can choose whether to have Touch ID and a numeric keypad. The basic model now includes additional keys for Spotlight, Dictation, Do Not Disturb mode, and emojis. However, the Magic Keyboard is only compatible with the new Mac series equipped with the M1 chip.

The Magic Trackpad supports multi-touch gestures and Force Touch technology. The Magic Mouse is designed to move smoothly anywhere on the desk and features a top multi-touch surface that can be operated with simple movements.

All Magic accessories include a woven-design USB-C to Lightning cable, allowing fast pairing and charging through the Mac’s USB-C port. Charging is wireless, and the battery life is long enough to last over a month on a single charge.

The three new graphics card modules are optimized for GPU-intensive applications such as 'Final Cut Pro.' They are equipped with AMD’s next-generation graphics processors from the 'Radeon Pro W6000' series: the 'Radeon Pro W6800X MPX' module, the 'Radeon Pro W6800X Duo MPX' module, and the 'Radeon Pro W6900X MPX' module.

These GPU modules are included as configuration options for the Mac Pro, and existing Mac Pro customers can also purchase them individually. The existing 'AMD Radeon Pro Vega II MPX' module and 'AMD Radeon Pro Vega II Duo MPX' module are not included as configuration options and are only available for separate sale.

However, the Apple online store is currently inaccessible. When accessing the Korean website, a message appears stating 'The Apple Store is currently undergoing renovation,' and it does not connect to the purchase page.
