Renault Samsung Motors "Castrol Synthetic Engine Oil Launch, 25% Discount Event"

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Renault Samsung Motors announced on the 3rd that it has launched Castrol synthetic engine oil tailored for Renault engines and will sell it at a discount of up to 25% until the 31st.

This launch commemorative discount sale will be held throughout August at 439 Renault Samsung Motors AS service network locations nationwide.

Castrol engine oil for gasoline engines (GTX RN-Spec710 5W40) is available at a 15% discount, and Castrol engine oil for diesel engines (GTX RN-Spec720 5W30) can be purchased at a 25% discount. (Labor costs excluded)

Additionally, during the same period, an event will be held where 100 customers who newly download and register on Renault Samsung Motors' vehicle management apps, ‘MY Renault Samsung Motors’ and ‘MY Renault,’ will be selected by lottery to receive a 5,000 KRW maintenance discount coupon.

The newly launched Castrol synthetic engine oil tailored for Renault engines is 100% synthetic oil with no added impurities. It provides excellent engine protection when starting the vehicle in both high and low temperature environments and is effective in preventing engine wear in extreme conditions such as long-distance, long-duration, and high-speed driving. It also has high thermal oxidation stability, resulting in less oil deterioration and longer replacement intervals.

Castrol, a globally renowned lubricant specialist company, has been selected as Renault's official global lubricant partner since 2020 and supplies products tailored for Renault engines.

The company emphasized that the technical know-how accumulated through sponsorship of the Renault Group Formula One (F1) racing team is utilized to develop products that maintain optimal engine performance even under extreme conditions.
