[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Emmental, the operator of 'Biznep,' a management automation service for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), announced on the 3rd that it has secured an investment of 6 billion KRW from Naver and others.
This investment involved Naver, Naver Financial, and Gorilla PE. Naver and Naver Financial each invested 1.5 billion KRW, totaling 3 billion KRW.
A Naver representative explained the background, stating, "We made this investment from a proactive perspective toward SaaS startups providing sales and tax management services for SMEs in their early growth stages."
Biznep is a service that supports SMEs by automatically collecting transaction information such as sales, purchases, and payments?which were difficult to manage?from the National Tax Service, financial institutions, and public organizations, enabling real-time management.
Emmental has been selected as a financial management partner for Naver's actively promoted 'On-Offline SME Co-Growth' initiative and plans to maintain close cooperation with Naver affiliates and subsidiaries.
