The International Business Division of the Academy of Management Selects Recipients for the 4th 'AmorePacific Outstanding Educator Award'

The 4th 'Amorepacific Excellent Educator Award' recipient, Dean Paul Almeida of Georgetown University Business School.

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Amorepacific Group announced on the 3rd that the International Management Division of the Academy of Management has selected Paul Almeida, Dean of the Georgetown University Business School, as the recipient of the 4th ‘Amorepacific Outstanding Educator Award.’

The ‘Amorepacific Outstanding Educator Award’ is given by the International Management Division of the Academy of Management to educators who have achieved outstanding accomplishments and pursued innovation in the field of international management education. Amorepacific has been sponsoring this award since 2018.

Paul Almeida, the 4th award recipient, is recognized as a world-renowned scholar in the field of international management strategy. After earning his Ph.D. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1995, he has served as a professor at Georgetown University Business School and is currently serving as its dean. Professor Almeida, who has served as editor of the Journal of International Business Studies, the world’s leading journal in international management, has published numerous papers on innovation and knowledge transfer within the global networks of multinational corporations. Additionally, as dean of Georgetown University, he has made significant contributions to the advancement of education related to international management.

Meanwhile, last year, the International Management Division of the Academy of Management selected Kendall Roth, a world-renowned scholar in international management strategy from the University of South Carolina, as the recipient of the 3rd ‘Amorepacific Outstanding Educator Award.’
