LG Electronics Showcases LG SIGNATURE OLED R at Royal Philharmonic Performance in the UK

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Electronics recently held an event at an art studio in London, UK, inviting local business partners and VIP customers to introduce the world's first rollable TV, the 'LG SIGNATURE OLED R,' the company announced on the 3rd.

This move is a strategic step to strengthen marketing of premium organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TVs by showcasing the rollable TV with a screen that rolls up.

The LG SIGNATURE OLED R appeared at the event alongside a performance by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, a representative orchestra of London. The screen rolled up and unfolded in sync with the music, demonstrating a harmony of technological innovation and art, capturing the attention of attendees. LG Electronics is the official partner sponsoring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's 75th anniversary season this year.

LG Electronics explained that the LG SIGNATURE OLED R delivers an overwhelming picture quality unique to OLED, where each pixel emits its own light, while offering customers a differentiated experience through innovative design.

LG OLED TVs are also recognized for their performance locally. In a TV performance evaluation conducted by the UK consumer media 'Which,' the LG OLED Evo scored the highest with 81 points out of 307 tested models. LG OLED TVs occupied all ranks from 1st to 12th in the performance evaluation.

At this event, LG Electronics also exhibited LG SIGNATURE products including 8K OLED TVs, refrigerators, and wine cellars. LG SIGNATURE encompasses a wide range of products such as rollable and 8K OLED TVs, washing machines, ice water purifier refrigerators, top fridge-bottom freezer refrigerators, wine cellars, humidifying air purifiers, and air conditioners.
