On the 2nd, Judge Lee Se-chang, in charge of warrants at the Seoul Central District Court, held a pre-arrest suspect interrogation (warrant review) for A, who was arrested on suspicion of attempted parricide, and issued an arrest warrant, stating "there is a risk of flight."
A is accused of wielding a weapon at his 60-year-old father, who was sleeping at their home in Sindang-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul, around 10:30 p.m. on the 30th of last month, injuring his shoulder and neck.
A suffers from schizophrenia, and fortunately, the father is reported to be in a condition without life-threatening injuries.
