[Asia Economy Reporter Ryu Jeong-min] A key official from the Blue House stated on the 2nd regarding the possible extension of Level 4 social distancing measures in the Seoul metropolitan area, "Currently, due to strengthened social distancing and quarantine measures, the upward trend is showing signs of slowing, but it is difficult to confirm a clear shift to a downward trend."

The Blue House official added, "The government and health authorities will decide on the social distancing level by observing this week's infection trends and analyzing the epidemic patterns."
