[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Germany's July Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) slightly increased to 65.9 compared to the previous month.
According to IHS Markit on the 2nd, Germany's finalized July manufacturing PMI stood at 65.9. This exceeds the market expectation of 65.6 and is also higher than the June figure of 65.1.
The PMI is based on 50; a value above 50 indicates economic expansion, while below 50 indicates economic contraction.
