Imsil-gun Conducts 'Red Chili Pepper Purchase' for 532 Farms

[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk (Governor Shim Min) announced on the 2nd that Imsil Gochu & Agricultural Products Processing and Sales Co., Ltd. will purchase red chili peppers from 532 farms in the area until the 30th of next month.

The planned purchase volume of red chili peppers for this year is 1,450 tons.

On the first day of the purchase of Imsil red chili peppers, which are a premium specialty product of Imsil, on the 30th of last month, Governor Shim Min visited the Imsil Chili Processing Center and had sincere conversations with local farmers.

Governor Shim Min listened to the voices of farmers and related personnel on site at the start of the red chili pepper purchase to resolve difficulties and promote the development of the Imsil chili industry.

Imsil Hongshil chili peppers have been a representative brand securing nationwide fame for over 10 years representing the county, and since obtaining GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certification in 2020, safety has also been strengthened, gaining high popularity and continuing a sold-out streak.

The county is newly implementing support for weed mats and chitosan to produce high-quality chili peppers.

Imsil Gochu & Agricultural Products Processing and Sales Co., Ltd. is actively supporting the continuous trust of consumers by producing differentiated products through the country's best processing facilities.

Chili pepper sales are expected to start in mid-this month.
