Seoul Seocho Police Station announced on the 2nd that they apprehended Mr. A on charges of robbery causing injury and violation of the Act on Control of Firearms, Swords, Explosives, etc.
According to the police, Mr. A is accused of pressing the intercom while pretending to be a delivery worker at an apartment in Seocho-gu that morning, and spraying the gas gun five times at the victim's face and other areas when the victim opened the door. He is also charged with threatening the victim with a stun gun, causing injury to the chin area as the victim fled to the master bedroom, and then escaping.
The police received the report at around 11:43 a.m. that day and caught Mr. A about 10 minutes later in the men's restroom on the first floor of the apartment's commercial area. Investigation revealed that Mr. A prepared the tools for the crime to cover living expenses and planned the crime by waiting around the area for three days. The police seized one gas gun, one stun gun, and three rolls of tape, which were the crime tools prepared by Mr. A.
