New Zealand premium kiwi brand Zespri announced on the 2nd (Monday) that it has successfully concluded the ‘Healthy Life Challenge’ campaign, which proposes healthy daily habits.

The campaign drew enthusiastic responses from consumers, with the total challenge video views surpassing approximately 2.76 million and a quiz event participation of 65,000 people, achieving 216% of the initial goal, concluding successfully.

The Zespri Healthy Life Challenge is a campaign to create new healthy habits by adding vitality to the body and mind through kiwi consumption. Held over five weeks from June 28 (Monday) to August 1 (Sunday), the campaign proposed one healthy daily challenge each week. In week 1, the Shin-Nari-Shus dance was introduced to recharge energy in a tiring daily life; week 2 encouraged eating nutrient-rich kiwis instead of unbalanced eating habits; week 3 featured a kiwi plating challenge to correct children’s picky eating. Week 4 promoted drinking healthy kiwi smoothies instead of caffeinated beverages, and week 5 concluded with a challenge to eat kiwi in the morning instead of skipping breakfast to regain daily energy. Participants could join by answering newly released quizzes each week or uploading content of mission achievements for each week on Instagram using the Zespri AR filter.

The campaign website was visited by more than 7,000 people daily on average, with a cumulative total of 250,000 people experiencing the Zespri Healthy Life Challenge over five weeks. The five challenge videos released on Zespri’s official SNS channels recorded 2.76 million views, and Instagram posts tagged with the Healthy Life Challenge hashtag totaled 1,061.

In particular, the quiz event’s campaign goal to donate kiwis worth 30 million KRW to underprivileged groups upon reaching 30,000 cumulative participants was achieved early within just two weeks. Ultimately, a total of 65,000 people participated, reaching nearly 216% of the original target. Zespri plans to donate nutrient-rich Zespri kiwis to underprivileged groups in mid-month on behalf of all participants who joined the Healthy Life Challenge.

Juminhye, Director of Zespri International Korea, said, “In times when health management has become more important, we hope people shared and enjoyed practicing healthy daily habits through the Zespri Healthy Life Challenge,” adding, “Zespri will continue to support healthy lives for many people with nutrient-rich kiwis that add vitality to the body and mind.”
