The 'Julie mural' has turned into a 'hate mural' filled with all kinds of slanderous phrases. The building owner and bookstore owner who created this mural announced plans to file complaints against some individuals.
On the morning of the 2nd, the outer wall of a used bookstore in Jongno-gu, Seoul, where the mural is located, was covered with black paint and phrases criticizing specific politicians. Some were written with vulgar language, causing passersby to frown.
There were also easily visible phrases slandering Democratic Party figures such as President Moon Jae-in and Gyeonggi Province Governor Lee Jae-myung. Regarding the thesis of Kim Geon-hee, spouse of Yoon Seok-youl, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, the words 'Yuji' and 'Yuji' were written.
Currently, the wall, despite signs requesting "Please preserve the mural," has been painted over with black paint. The bookstore owner is reported to have filed a police report for property damage against the person who painted over the mural.
