Training Specialized Personnel for Energy-Saving E-Mobility Component Development

The Department of Future Automotive Engineering at Gwangju University announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting participants for the "Next-Generation Design and Production Training Course" as part of a youth employment and startup program linked to the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Innovation Platform project until the 13th.
This training course will be held from the 19th to the 31st and is open to current students and local youth.
Applications can be submitted via email or by visiting Room 104 in the Gwangju University Inseong Hall in person.
Eligibility is for local youth who wish to seek employment or start a business, and final participants will be selected after internal evaluation by the project manager and affiliated faculty members.
After the training activities, scholarships will be awarded to selected participants based on evaluation, and additional scholarship benefits will be provided if the relevant certification is obtained within the designated period.

Meanwhile, the Department of Future Automotive Engineering, participating in the future transportation equipment sector of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Platform Gwangju University project group, changed its name to the AI Automotive Department in the 2022 academic year and is accelerating the training of specialized personnel in the field of artificial intelligence personal mobility.
In particular, aiming to cultivate practical professionals with core automotive parts development capabilities and AI convergence creative talents, the department plans to enhance employment capabilities by providing customized education for future automotive experts, including acquiring eco-friendly IT-converged smart green car, autonomous driving, and smart safety automotive technologies.
Jung Sungin, head of the Department of Future Automotive Engineering at Gwangju University, said, "Our department has transformed into the AI Automotive Department by combining artificial intelligence AI with automotive engineering alongside the 4th Industrial Revolution, and it has a systematic and detailed educational environment suitable for the major, covering basic theory, practice, and autonomous vehicles."
