[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education conducted the 'Gyeongnam School Facilitator Qualification Course Basic Training' for elementary and secondary school teachers in the province on the 2nd.

This training, held until the 3rd, is designed as a qualification course for school facilitators who will play a role in promoting a democratic culture in schools within the province. It plans to train 120 people over three years starting this year.

School facilitators lead democratic decision-making through communication and empathy in various school decision-making or problem situations and perform mediation and coordination roles in the implementation process of the curriculum.

In particular, it is operated as a qualification course where participants undergo training and obtain a professional certificate to acquire practical expertise as facilitators related to school and educational situations.

Through the educational application of facilitation, we will prepare various policies and support measures to foster and establish a democratic school culture.”
