"Gmarket's 'Lotte Mart Same-Day Delivery' Promotion with 3,000 Won Discount on Grocery Shopping"

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Gmarket announced on the 2nd that it will hold the 'Lotte Mart Same-Day Delivery Promotion' until the 8th. It offers a daily '20% discount coupon' and various benefits such as Smile Cash rewards.

This event was prepared for customers who find it difficult to shop directly at the mart due to the recent strengthening of social distancing and heatwaves.

Two types of exclusive '20% discount coupons' for Lotte Mart are provided daily. Discounts apply up to 3,000 KRW for purchases over 5,000 KRW and can be used on all products including rice and grains. One of the two coupons is exclusive to the mobile app. A 'Category 10% Discount Coupon' is also offered. This coupon applies discounts to designated categories daily, with discounts up to 3,000 KRW for purchases over 1,000 KRW. On the 2nd, the category is beef, and on the 3rd, seasonal fruits.

Smile Club members, eBay Korea’s premium membership, receive an additional 'Smile Club 5% Shopping Coupon' that offers up to 5,000 KRW discount on purchases over 1,000 KRW. Each ID can download the coupon up to 10 times daily. Additionally, first-time buyers of 'Lotte Mart Same-Day Delivery' will receive 3,000 KRW in Smile Cash. This applies to customers with a final payment amount of 40,000 KRW or more, and the cash will be credited collectively on August 25.

Special price products exclusive to Lotte Mart, called 'Only Price Products,' are also introduced. Recommended items include 'Grade 1 Milk 930ml 2-pack' (3,000 KRW), 'Mineral Water Eco 2L 6-pack' (2,000 KRW), and 'Natural Pulp 3-ply Toilet Paper 28m 30 rolls' (10,000 KRW). Popular Toys "R" Us products are also sold at discounted prices. This is the first time Toys "R" Us products are being sold at a discount through a partner mall.

Meanwhile, Gmarket provides same-day delivery services in partnership with four brands: Lotte Mart, Homeplus, Lotte Super Fresh, and GS Fresh Mall. Once the delivery address is registered on Gmarket’s same-day delivery section, customers can conveniently receive deliveries at their desired time on the same day from nearby marts and supermarkets, and can add products from partnered stores into one shopping cart for a single payment.
