Korean judo finished this tournament with one silver medal and two bronze medals.
The first player in the team event, male over 100kg Kim Minjong, defeated Ulziibayar Durenbayar with a decisive ippon victory.
He succeeded with a leg sweep ippon 15 seconds before the end of regular time to secure the win.

Female 57kg Kim Jisoo lost to Dorjisuulengiin Sumiya by waza-ari from a morote seoi nage after a golden score (overtime) battle.

On the brink of elimination, male 90kg Kwak Donghan tried to turn the momentum around but was defeated by penalty against Gantulga Altanbagana, ending Korea’s run.
