The 2021 'Lottery Fund Children and Youth Vacation Program Support Project' selected a total of 141 social welfare facilities after receiving applications through an online distribution request in April and conducting a review process.
The fund transfer ceremony was held the previous day at Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, attended by Chairman Nodongil of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae and representatives from social welfare facilities and institutions.
The provided project funds will be used for special programs during the children and youth vacation period (such as science, creativity, reading, cooking, etc.), emotional and cultural programs considering the COVID-19 situation, and purchasing supplies for the new semester preparation.
Chairman Nodongil of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae said, "There is great concern for children who need protection during the vacation period, especially with the added challenges of the COVID-19 situation," and added, "We will do our best to minimize the care gap for children and youth so they can continue to live healthy lives."
