OB Beer 'Cass 0.0' Surpasses 2 Million Cans in Online Cumulative Sales


[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] OB Beer announced on the 30th that its non-alcoholic beverage 'Cass 0.0' has surpassed 2 million cans in cumulative online sales.


The 2 million cans represent the cumulative sales figure from the end of November last year, when it was first listed on Coupang, to mid-July this year, counting sales from the single Coupang channel only.


OB Beer analyzed that the popularity of Cass 0.0 is due to the spread of a healthy drinking culture that enjoys the atmosphere rather than drinking heavily, and the increase in consumers who prioritize health, making non-alcoholic beverages a new alternative.


Cass 0.0 uses the same ingredients as regular beer and undergoes the same fermentation and maturation processes. In the final filtration stage, alcohol is extracted using a 'smart separation method,' preserving the unique taste of beer. Cass 0.0 is a non-alcoholic beverage with an alcohol content of less than 0.05%.


An OB Beer official said, “Cass 0.0, which is easy to purchase online and can be enjoyed at home without burden, continues to gain popularity,” adding, “OB Beer will lead the domestic non-alcoholic beverage market with the quality of Cass 0.0 and will continuously strive to satisfy consumers.”
