On the 29th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that it transferred the case to the Geumcheon Police Station, considering Cho's address and other factors.
Former deputy spokesperson Cho caused controversy by stating on a broadcast, "The captain of the Cheonan sank all his own subordinates, who were like his own flesh and blood."
Former Cheonan captain Choi Won-il and the Cheonan Veterans Association filed a defamation complaint against Cho with the National Police Agency's Criminal Investigation Headquarters on the 10th of last month. Since then, the Seocho Police Station has been investigating the case after being assigned to it. On the 15th, former captain Choi appeared at the Seocho Police Station as a complainant and stated, "There was no fact of sinking my subordinates, nor did I fail in my duty during the mission."
