[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Doshi Sharing Platform, leading the unmanned neighborhood supermarket project nationwide, announced on the 29th that it will integrate Kakao's easy payment service, 'Wallet QR Code,' into the digitalization projects of smart stores and smart supermarkets being conducted in collaboration with the government.


On the same day, Doshi Sharing Platform and Kakao held a partnership agreement ceremony at 'AISS Go24,' a Korean-style unmanned store located in Godeung-dong, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, to equip Doshi Sharing Platform's product payment service with Kakao's 'Wallet QR Code.'


The digital smart support for small business owners across services such as unmanned store access and electronic entry log management at small business stores, and Kakao's easy payment will simplify the payment process.


Doshi Sharing Platform has been selected as the smart technology supplier for the smart store and smart supermarket projects promoted by the Small Enterprise and Market Service under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and is intensifying the project. The smart store project aims to digitalize 20,000 locations within this year, and the smart supermarket project plans to digitalize 4,000 locations over five years starting this year (800 locations annually).


Doshi Sharing Platform was selected as the first AI unmanned liquor sales technology special company in Korea under the government's regulatory sandbox and has opened and is operating 'AISS Go24,' the nation's first unmanned convenience store where liquor can be purchased 24 hours a day, in Godeung-dong, Seongnam-si.


Jinseok Park, CEO of Doshi Sharing Platform, said, "The business agreement with Kakao has given great wings to the nationwide neighborhood retail unmanned project and AI unmanned liquor store payment service that our company is actively pursuing," adding, "Above all, we have gained a great ally in supporting the smart technology for small business owners' retail stores, which is a key focus of our company."


Juil Yang, Vice President of Kakao, stated, "It is meaningful to participate in a project that supports small business owners struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic with advanced technology," and added, "We will spare no effort in providing technological support so that small business owners in neighborhood commercial districts can reduce labor and increase profits in store management."


Meanwhile, through the strategic partnership with Kakao on this day, Doshi Sharing Platform has gained synergy effects by linking the ongoing neighborhood supermarket digitalization project and the AI unmanned liquor sales adult authentication regulatory special project with the unmanned store access system and easy payment service.
