Nuguna Holdakbanhan Dak Enjoys 35% Sales Increase Riding 'Boknal Special'

The franchise chicken brand Nuguna Holddak Banhandak announced on the 30th that its sales during the two days of Boknal increased by more than 35% compared to the average sales in July.

Analyzing Nuguna Holddak Banhandak's sales in July, sales on Chobok, which was on the 11th, rose about 41% compared to the previous week, and Jungbok sales also increased by 55%. Monthly sales have steadily increased since more than doubling sharply after the TV commercial started in April. The company explained that the Cha Eun-woo effect combined with the Boknal chicken boom contributed to this growth.

As a result, despite the recent Level 4 social distancing measures and the focus on small-capital startups, Nuguna Holddak Banhandak has maintained a low closure rate in the 2% range this year, with continuous inquiries about chicken startups and new franchise openings.

A representative of Nuguna Holddak Banhandak stated, “From the franchisor's perspective, increasing the number of franchise stores is definitely beneficial, but more important is to help franchisees operate stably and long-term for mutual growth. In fact, many cases have changed their original small-scale startup plans to open medium to large-sized stores after experiencing our differentiated menu such as Ssamtak and consulting for startups, and the satisfaction of those franchisees is also high.”
