Gapyeong-gun Conducts Special Inspection on Campsite Wastewater Treatment During Vacation Season

[Asia Economy Reporter La Youngcheol] Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do announced on the 29th that it will conduct an intensive inspection of wastewater treatment conditions at about 100 campsites in the area from August to September 17th in preparation for the vacation season.

The main inspection items include ▲ installation and appropriate capacity of individual wastewater treatment facilities within campsites ▲ compliance with management standards for individual wastewater treatment facilities ▲ compliance with discharge water quality standards, etc.

As a result of the inspection, unauthorized discharge of wastewater generated within campsites or violations of wastewater treatment facilities will be subject to administrative measures and legal actions.

The county plans to provide technical support jointly with individual wastewater treatment facility management companies for facilities that require improvement due to insufficient management.
