Jungjingong Introduces Contactless AS System for Regional Smart Factories

Initiative to Revitalize the Smart Factory Ecosystem

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the 29th that it will operate a non-face-to-face after-service (AS) support system for local smart factory adopters in collaboration with the Smart Factory Supplier Alliance to revitalize the smart factory ecosystem.

Since smart factory solution suppliers are mainly located in the metropolitan area, local smart factory adopters face difficulties in after-operation such as immediate AS. SBC has stepped in to resolve these difficulties faced by adopters.

The non-face-to-face AS coaching focuses on supporting problem-solving through one-point lessons by experts belonging to the Smart Factory Supplier Alliance for operational difficulties occurring on-site at adopter companies, such as parts or system failures.

On this day, SBC will conduct non-face-to-face coaching on a pilot basis for four smart factory adopter companies located in the Jeonbuk region. Experts from the Supplier Alliance located in the metropolitan area will identify on-site difficulties of adopters, propose short-term solutions, and establish a roadmap for long-term after-service management. Based on the coaching results, follow-up support will be provided to resolve difficulties through on-site visits, and active linkage with government support projects such as smart factory after-service will be pursued.

Kim Yang-ho, Director of the Smart Diagnosis Technology Department at SBC, said, "Starting with this coaching, we plan to gradually expand the non-face-to-face AS coaching target nationwide," adding, "We will cooperate with the Supplier Alliance to strengthen smart factory monitoring support, deploy experts by field, link policy projects, and take the lead in building a smart factory ecosystem where suppliers and adopters can coexist and develop together."
