Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Conducts 'Fire Safety Inspection' at COVID-19 Residential Treatment Center

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Song Seonghun) conducted an emergency fire safety inspection at the COVID-19 Residential Treatment Center.


On the 27th, Gwangsan Fire Station announced on the 28th that it carried out a safety inspection to prevent fires at the Gwangju Fire School dormitory, a COVID-19 Residential Treatment Center located in Sochon-dong, Gwangsan-gu.


This inspection focused on ▲ checking for closure and locking of entrances and emergency exits ▲ verifying any evacuation obstacles ▲ inspecting the management status of fire safety facilities.


Additionally, together with the Korea Electrical Safety Corporation, they checked the condition of electrical wiring and inspected whether the rated current of circuit breakers was appropriate.


Song Seonghun, Chief of Gwangsan Fire Station, stated, “We will carry out various preventive activities to ensure the safety of medical staff and patients fighting on the front lines of COVID-19, and make every effort to ensure there are no setbacks in responding to COVID-19.”
