[Photo] Vegetable Prices Soar Amid Consecutive Heatwaves

On the 28th, as the heatwave continued for the second week causing vegetable prices to soar, a citizen was selecting vegetables at a large supermarket in Seoul. According to the agricultural product distribution information from the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) on that day, prices of leafy vegetables such as lettuce, spinach, and perilla leaves rose significantly.
