Morisawa Korea (CEO Kim Young-gil) is partnering with domestic schedule management application company Timeblucks (CEO Park Won-il) to release premium Korean fonts.
Morisawa Korea, the Korean branch of the global font company Morisawa Inc., announced that starting from the 29th, Morisawa fonts will be available in the Timeblucks app store following Timeblucks' proposal.
Currently, Timeblucks, which has 3.5 million downloads and 800,000 users, is the number one diary decoration (dakku) application in Korea, with over 60,000 items sold monthly through its in-app store, including fonts, themes, stickers, and colors.
Morisawa fonts can be used by downloading the Timeblucks application from the iPhone and Android markets.
By establishing a partnership with the world-renowned font company Morisawa, Timeblucks plans to take a step further toward global expansion.
In particular, this Morisawa font launch will mark the first-ever release of Morisawa's premium Korean fonts, which have never been publicly available before, making it a great opportunity not only for Timeblucks users but also for those interested in fonts.
Kim Jong-hyuk, director of Morisawa Korea, said, "The inclusion of Morisawa fonts in Timeblucks will be an opportunity to quench the thirst of domestic and international users who have been longing for global fonts."
Morisawa Korea is the Korean branch of Morisawa Group, a global font company based in Osaka, Japan, known for developing and commercializing the world's first phototypesetting machine in 1924. Through its newly launched website, it provides various fonts and related information in Latin, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic, Thai, and other languages, while also supporting the global expansion of K-content businesses such as games, art, and webtoons.
